Chocolate cupcakes with chocolate ganache a repeat design, but this time I packaged them as favors. Have a great field hockey season Katya! The team loved them! Shawn said the girls were running off the field with excitment to get their hands on them. Each girl raved to Katya about them. The cupcakes were not only beautifully packaged and decorated but absolutley delicious.

Nicholas Lodge

I met the wonderfully talented Nicolas Lodge at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York, he was doing a demo for Albert Uster Imports. The featured product was Massa Americana fondant, he demonstrated the use of this premium fondant. Nicholas also demonstrated the use of stencils, textured mats, tips on handling the different types of fondant and how he decorated a cake that was on the cover of American Cake Decorating magazine. I am looking forward to taking classes from him next year.

Winter Holiday Cupcake Class

NYC Cake Decorators DOS classes, I conducted a cupcake decorating workshop. The students each got a kit that contained fondant, cupcakes, cupcake box, fondant spacers, and supplies were available for purchase. It was great to work with one another and share information not only about decorating but also about the cupcake industry in general, I had a wonderful Saturday morning and hope to feature my students in an upcoming post.
